Patriots Day is a holiday that’s celebrated in Massachusetts every year. For anyone in Boston, it’s a truly unique experience. Also known as Marathon Monday, this year’s event will take place on April 17th. It will feature a Boston Red Sox home game at Fenway Park and the running of the world-famous Boston Marathon.
Festivals in Boston
Boston is home to a diverse and exciting series of events every year and that always includes some amazing festivals. This year, travelers can discover great live tunes at the Boston Calling Music Festival from May 27th-29th, eat delicious dishes at the Boston Seafood Festival on August 7th, and take in a one-of-a-kind boating competition at the Head of The Charles Regatta from October 20th-22nd.
TD Garden Highlights
Not far from The Boxer hotel, TD Garden plays home to the much beloved Bruins and Celtics professional sports franchises. In addition to their home games, travelers can also check out a number of 2023 events at this famous Boston arena. Check out the famous Beanpot hockey tournament on February 6th & 13th, Blink 182 on May 21st, and Madonna from 30th-31st.
Boston’s Theatre Scene
Just a day’s drive from NYC’s Broadway, Boston’s theater scene has maintained a strong reputation for years, and this year a number of exciting new productions will come to town. This winter you can catch Hamilton at the Citizens Bank Opera House until March 12th. Following that run, the same venue will host a production of Beetlejuice. Over at the Charles Playhouse, the Blue Man Group will continue its long-running stay in Boston.
