Downtown Boston Parking
Valet parking is not available at this time, however guests may still use the hotel loading zone at the main entrance for unloading luggage.
Self parking is available at the neighboring Government Center Garage located at 125 Bowker St, Boston, MA 02114. Guests of The Boxer receive an exclusive parking rate of $40 for a 24 hour period. To receive this rate, a parking reservation must be made with the hotel front desk at check-in.
The Boxer $40 self parking rate is only valid for 24 hours. Any additional hours must be paid at the gate upon departure according to the Government Center Garage rates.
Getting Around Town and to The Boxer Boston
from the Airport or Boston South Station
The Boxer Hotel is located in downtown Boston, close to the North End and West End neighborhoods. Our hotel near Boston Logan Airport, is about a 10-minute car ride from Logan International Airport and 5-minute car ride from Boston South Station.
GETTING AROUND TOWN
Boston is one of the most walk-able cities in America, and here at The Boxer Hotel we highly encourage you to leave the car behind. With our central location close to the North End, Faneuil Hall, and Beacon Hill, many of the great sights around town are within close walking distance. Driving Directions from Logan International Airport (10 minutes):
- From Airport Rd – Arrival Level, keep right and follow signs for Massachusetts 1A S/Interstate 93N/Summer Tunnel
- Continue on MA-1A S – 0.3 mi
- Use the left 2 lanes to turn left to stay on MA-1A S – 1.2 mi
- Use the left lane to take the exit toward Government Center – 0.2 mi
- Turn left onto Market St/New Chardon St. – 0.1 mi
- You’ve arrived at The Boxer Boston
Public Transportation from Logan International Airport (30 minutes):
- From arrivals, take the Logan Airport Shuttle to the Airport Subway Station
- Follow signs and walk about 1 minute to the MBTA Airport Station
- Hop on the Blue Line towards Bowdoin
- Hop off at Bowdoin (5 stops)
- Head Northeast toward New Chardon St and turn right onto New Chardon St – 160 ft
- Turn left at Bulfinch Pl – 0.1 mi
- Turn left onto Merrimac St – 170 ft

ARRIVING FROM BOSTON SOUTH STATION BY TRAIN OR BUS
The Boxer is located about a 5-minute car ride from Boston South Station. Cabs are usually readily available as you exit the train station.
Driving Directions from Boston South Station (5 minutes):
- Head northeast on I-93N – 0.6 mi
- Take exit 23 for Government Center toward Quincy Market – 0.3 mi
- Use the middle lane to keep right at the fork and follow signs for North End/North Station – 140 ft
- Turn left onto Cross St – 300 ft
- Turn left onto Hanover St – 0.1 mi
- Turn right onto Congress St – 0.2 mi
- Continue onto Merrimac St – 0.2 mi

Public Transportation from Boston South Station:
If you’re traveling light and prefer public transportation, take the Red Line at Boston South Station. This option entails about a 10-minute walk.
- From South Station, Hop on the Red Line towards Alewife
